View this email in your browser FEBRUARY 2022 WEEK ONE Elementary Compassion is caring enough to do something about someone else's need. Bible Story Jesus' Mission Statement Luke 4:14-24, 28-30 Following Jesus means caring about others. MEMORY VERSE "The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must act with justice. You must love to show mercy. And you must be humble as you live in the sight of your God." Micah 6:8, NIrV ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER Morning Time Start your kid’s day off by doing something extra—a special breakfast, a treat in their lunchbox, an encouraging note in their backpack, etc.   Drive Time While on the go, ask your kid: "What’s something nice you’ve seen someone do or say lately?' Meal Time At a meal this week, ask everyone: "Who is someone that you see every day that needs some help or a friend?" Have everyone at the table answer.   Bed Time Pray for each other: "God, help us to see and hear the needs of those around us, and if there is something we can do to help, then do it."
