We Love Celebrities [Galatians 4:16-20]

We have a natural inclination to gravitate towards icons; celebrities; people with charisma and zeal. It's human nature to be attracted to bold passion whether we admit it or not (we're like moths to a porch light!) And more than even just people, we love to align with social movements be it political, cultural, religious, hobby or interest based. And there's nothing really wrong with having an interest in celebrities, identifying with movements, having zeal and passions for things in life, Paul warns us in Galatians that Satan uses these people and these things to pull us away from the Gospel.
Have you felt yourself further away from God than usual? Do you feel alienated from the Gospel of Grace and instead caught up in guilt, judgment, and fear in life? (From yourself, from the church, from God?)

Chances are your allegiance is being placed in something else, an icon, a zealous force in the world that is gaining your worship for themselves and subtly trying to exclude you from God
